Description

Responsibilities:

● Build the company vision and strategy for KSA office, set monthly/quarterly team objectives

● Own KSA’s P&L and be responsible for achieving growth and burn/profitability targets

● Identify new opportunities for growth (new customer segments, new markets, new verticals) and set action plans to go after such opportunities

● Build key partnerships in an effort of opening new opportunities to grow and build awareness for the company

● Identify opportunities to improve the quality and reliability of company operations across all cities in KSA

● Identify top merchant partners to onboard onto the company platform and support the Category Management team accordingly

● Lead cross-functional team alignment to make internal and external operations more efficient and scalable

● Represent and be the spokesperson for the company in all meetings/interactions with merchant partners, government officials, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders in KSA

● Motivate the KSA team around the company mission and values and ensure that the various teams perform against their goals and objectives

● Own colleague engagement and continuously improve retention rate by building an amazing environment for colleagues to thrive and grow in

● Champion the values and culture of the organization and ensure that they are lived at every level of the KSA office

 

Requirements and Qualifications:
 

● Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, and a master’s degree / MBA is a plus

● 5+ years experience in regional startups or technology companies having led large teams

● Strong commercial and business acumen with a solid understanding of key business functions such as finance and marketing

● Demonstrated leadership skills, both in building teams and being a strong stakeholder management

● Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a strong analytical approach

● Ability and willingness to operate at all levels (big picture and small details) supporting his/her team as needed. No task is beneath him/her

● Passionately data and numbers-driven. This is a must!

● Unbelievable customer obsession and customer-centric approach to problem-solving

● A hands-on, “can do” attitude, and a drive for outcome focussed performance

● Excellent communicator, fluent in both Arabic and English
